Kent has spent more than 35 years working with children, families, and communities, helping young people recognize their potential, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed.

Kent began his career directing summer camps, youth sports, and after-school programs for 16 years at the Westside and Palisades-Malibu YMCA locations.  In 1999 he became a Director of  Prime Time Sports Camp and later joined Team Prime Time, where he now oversees 14 LAUSD after-school programs, providing leadership to program managers, site directors, and more than 120 staff members.  He works closely with his team to ensure that Team Prime Time’s mission and core values are reflected in every program.
